Fridays are the best.. A day to relax and enjoy. =)

It seems like there are always things happening on Fridays. Went out with my Poly friends today to celebrate Shannon's and Chalven's Birthday. Ate at PS Pizza Hut then went to Cineleisure to play pool. Later on, we did some window shopping. Some peeps left and we were like separated into two groups. We did more window shopping at Taka, then went to Yoshinoya to get a drink. We talked, played around with each other's hp camera phones. Lastly, we went to browse handphones at the M1 shop.

Hehe had a great time today.. But I am really tired..

I hardly have time to blog.. Well.. the work is never-ending. After every lecture, there's a tutorial to do so it will not end. Zzzzz..

ICAs are coming up soon, the 1st one on Monday and.. so on.. Hope I am catching up with work. Gotta clear all my whys and hows soon.

Grrrr.. I think I will be broke at the end of the week. Been going out lately and spending on food, movies, outings, neoprints.. (I need cash!)

Indeed, money makes the world go round~ o.O

There's so much I want to do and want to try. Those are the things I love to do but I lack the time and opportunity. Not sure I will be able to do them in this life. Life's just too short and filled with many obstacles..

I want to try something different, fun and of course, worth it. Gotta break free from the things I am doing and just have pure enjoyment. Hope I can do what I wanna do someday and not leave this world without even fulfilling my dreams. (Someday... ...)
 
Yeap.. better get started with my Marketing ICA 1. Got lots of other things to do too..

Ms Chee let our class off earlier today as we supposed to do an e-quiz on cms. Who will be bothered to do it!? Haha.. So after class, there was a little discussion because it's Brenda's birthday, and some of them suggested to go out to eat as a form of celebration. So finally, the class decided to go to Woodland's Swensens.

Almost the whole of BM0406 went. Ate our delicious meal then sang a birthday song to Brenda. After that some of them left and some of us went up to play pool.

Hahaa.. it was fun.. but I didn't really play well after a few games as I started to get tired. And so, I can't really concentrate.. =X Some of my classmates can play quite well. It's alright.. I just need to practise more and I will challenge them one day.. Lol...

Arghh.. 8am accounts lecture tomorrow. It's a make-up lesson because the lecturer can't make it next Tuesday. Grrr.. I thought I will be able to have a good night's rest. Haha.. it seems like lots of my friends won't be attending it. Zzzzzz...

Hehe.. went to Grassroots to play pool with Clarice yesterday before going for the 2pm class. It was fun but we didn't manage to finish the 2nd game.

Met Aik Wei and Pearlin at Food Junction. I think one of them called me but I didn't hear. It was only when Clarice told me that I knew. So I went over to their table and just talk for a short while. Hehe.. :)

Today was the orientation grand finale. Performances by the ogls, seniors and a graduate. Some of them can really sing well. And of course, a performance by our very own lecturers. It was really funny.. Some of them were alright but the male lecturers danced very.. err.. err.. sissy-like. Haha.. =X And some, very stiff.

Argh.. However, the finale took up a lot of time. That means I have less time to finish me work! Grrr.. But I need rest! Feel so tired and I don't think I have the energy to think. Well, I think I better start finishing my work during the weekends or there's no time for enjoyment.

Hmm.. But I was thinking.. being busy really keeps you going.. =) Yeah it's better being busy than doing nothing at all! Ok enough said, better eat my dinner soon and finish with my accounts quick.

Firstly, I wanna wish Wan Ting a very Happy Birthday! Hehe.. Miss her so much.. Hope to go out with her soon.. =) Really missed the 4A memories..
 
Anyway, school was quite boring today.. Nothing much. However, it was really a day full of laughter. Haha.. not sure what's wrong with us. Clarice and I were laughing all the way. She just can't make me stop. We laugh at the slightest things happening around us. I remember during the Effective Writing Skills lesson, we said something really funny. About the options, a) You are fired. b) You are fired. c) You are fired. d) All of the above. Only "we" know about it.
 
Well after the last lesson, I went to the library with Clarice to finish our stats work while Boon Sze and Xiu Mei went home cause they didn't bring their notes. I love the library man, it's so big and spacious. A really nice environment to study. Yeapz.. so erm I left school about 5.30pm..
 
Zzzzz.. yeah feeling sleepy now. Slept quite late last night.. Bro and I were like having a heart-to-heart talk.. Lol pretty interesting... =X

Wow.. another week is soon coming to an end. Time is travelling way too fast. Tomorrow is the start of another week of school! It goes to show that when you got lots of things to do, time just speeds up.
 
Looking back in the previous months, I was still at home resting because of my operation. I was always complaining that I was bored. To me, lots of time was wasted just resting in bed and doing nothing. I got so frustrated sometimes.. Those were really the terrible days of pain and suffering..
 
Well.. time is really, really, really precious. No point looking back but instead, look forward to the days ahead. =)

Yeah! School ended earlier tha 12 noon! Haha.. thanks to our well-behaved class.. (Like real =X) Anyway, back to the point. Hmm.. poly is ok I guess. Has its fun and boring times. Tutorials after lectures, lectures after tutorials, going to different classes all around the blocks and climbing stairs to different levels. Last but not least, shivering and freezing during lessons. If you forget to bring a jacket, it's good luck to you.. Lol..
 
As a poly student, it means being independent. Boo hoo hoo.. there's no more spoon-feeding from teachers. We got to take down our own notes, get our own notes, prepare our tutorials without being told and knowing when our exams will be. What's more we have to check for assignments, quizzes and tutorial to do in our school's e-learn website. So you see, Poly isn't that relaxed. I am sure that my life will get more hectic when projects start rolling in.. =O
 
Still, I hope to be able to catch up with work. I am still new to some modules and hope too that I will like and understand them as the month progresses. Yeah so best of luck for my Year 1.. But of course, besides studying smart, I need to play hard too.. I am off to rest and play now! Tata =P

Had Marketing tutorial and a self-intro thing to do yesterday. So I was kinda rushing it through after watching Smallville. Haha I just can't miss it.. It's one of my favourite shows. So yah... slept at 1+ and so I felt sleepy during the lessons. I really have to try to be awake especially during marketing lectures and tutorials. Simply because the teacher has this so called gentle and soft-spoken voice and it makes u bored. =X Thus, a interesting module can turn into a boring one.

Hmm nothing much today.. but the good news is that Friday's 2pm lesson has been shifted to Wednesday, which means there is no more 2 hrs break on Friday! Haha can leave right after 12 noon~ Weeeee...

AHhhh so sleepy.. got to finish Econs by Friday.. Heh heh.. but luckily I already finished my accounts. I need rest now~

Quite a fun and light day in school. That's what I like about Mondays.. Only 2 Modules.

It was Business Software Applications in the morning and we did more Microsoft Excel. Well, learning it is really useful.

Haha yeah and for Effective Writing Skills, it was a fun lesson today. Everyone was laughing most of the time. Haha.. because the way some of us form sentences is really funny. Of course, the jokers in our class made us laugh even more. Our PEM also made some mistakes in her words..

I was doing my accounts homework after lunch when my Mum asked me to accompany her to buy a rice cooker. She suggested to go to Dhobby Ghaut because she wanted to look around for a blouse as well.

Shucks.. shouldn't had followed her.. =X I was so bored when she was looking for her clothes. Haha.. Jk.. it wasn't that bad. I mean, when she was trying on clothes, I went to look at other stuffs.

So finally, she bought a suit and sleeveless shirt at G2000. After that, we went to Carrefour and bought some food and necessities.

We had our dinner at Food Junction before going to Best to take a look at the rice cookers. There are quite a few types there but my Mum didn't really like them. She wanted to go to John Little but I told her that wouldn't be any or much there because it is such a small outlet. Grrr.. she still insisted and when we got there, we only saw one type which wasn't suitable. (Can't help it if she doesn't want to listen to me.. she's still my Mum.. =X Haha..) In the end, we went back to Best and after much thought, my Mum decided on a Panasonic one. The only thing she didn't like about it, is the dull colour.

We took a taxi back and here I am at home doing my accounts work again. Zzzz.. I wanted to finish it by today and start doing other homework but that's not the case anymore. Blame it on the rice cooker! =O

Stupid heavy and thick books! (There I go again..) Yeah.. I finally bought all my textbooks and I hope that's all. If another teacher tells me there is still another book to be bought, I will probably faint.

Oh yeah, I met Shi Hui at yck mrt station and was surprised to see my primary school friend, Jo-ee, with her. Obviously, they are taking the same course and they were going to Orchard. I was with Clarice, Xiu Mei and Boon Sze. We went to Popular bookstore to get that final textbook. Haha fortunately I asked my bro to buy the Econs book for me yesterday or not I will be complaining even more.. =X

Now just chatting with Michelle on mSn.. Lol.. in school, we like to call her the sweet supplier.. =X Ok after this, got to check what work needs to be done..

Fast isn't it? One week of school is over..

Needed to wake up early because lessons starts at 8am. However, the good news is that school ended about a hour earlier. Lessons were on Macroeconomics, Statistics and Accounts. Hmm.. slightly afraid of Stats because the lecturer and tutorial teacher told everyone it is a "killer" and said that many students don't do well in it. Yeah it really seems true because I already get frightened just by flipping through the pages of that super thick textbook and I was a little lost during the lecture. What's more, I asked my Aunt whether she can help me in stats if I have any difficulties and this is what she said, "I did well in all my poly subjects back then. All of them were A's except for Stats, a D.." Lol.. Oh no, looks like it's really tough but I guess all the more I should work harder and practise more.

I was back at school again later at 4.50. There was a tennis trial at 5pm because I signed up for it during the CCA open house. Unfortunately, I can only join at the end of the year because my knee is still in the midst of recovery. So I just went there to checked out with the coach whether it is okay. (Which it is..) Hmm.. I should have stayed there longer to see what's the trial about but I didn't. I was also with my classmate so I felt a little awkward just leaving like that. Well, just see how things go at the end of the year..

Now I am feeling sleepy.. it starts at 9am tmr! Actually it starts at 8am but a lesson is cancelled.. but still I prefer the timing at 10.10. Ok maybe I should revise what was taught today and do the tutorial homework on accounting..

I bought most of my textbooks already except about 1 or 2. Got a hard time coming home carrying all those books. On top of that, my bag was also quite heavy and I still got to take a bus home. Haha when I was alighting, I find it so hard to balance as both on hands were full. Felt as if I might fall down anytime.. and I guess some people were staring at me.. =X

When I got down, I was surprised to see my grandfather waiting there. Then I realised that it must be my grandmother who told him that I might need help carrying those books because I called home earlier to ask if my Dad could pick me up in school due to the heavy books. o.O

Argh feeling so sleepy now. I just did an E-Learn on accounting just now.. Quite interesting to learn modules online. It's something new..

Alrighty, better see what else I need to do and prepare, for tomorrow's lessons.

School didn't start early but to me, it was a long day. Haha.. lectures can really make you fall asleep after a while.. some topics are really dry. That's why sweets are vital to help keep you awake! =X

Anyway, poly books really cost a bomb. Those thick and heavy books are so pricey and you can easily spend hundreds of dollars on them. I got to get a few books tomorrow.. but can't buy all at one short cause they weigh a ton.

Yeah.. It seems like Wednesdays are the best.. 10.10am-1.50pm.. Hehe hehe.. Ok I better sleep soon..

Not that bad.. School started at 10.10am and I need not wake up so early. There were not many lessons but there was a long break of about 2 hours! Haha.. My friends and I didn't know what to do with the extra time and we ended up walking and sitting around. No homework or projects to do at the moment so it was really a waste of time!

Saw 2 new faces in class but both are girls.. =X Anyway, we were taught some basics of Excel for our Lab lesson. For our tutorial, it was more like a brief intro about some rules and regulations and we were asked to fill in our particulars and to tell more about ourselves on a sheet of paper.

Argh.. it's a long day tomorrow... 2pm-8pm.. Long stretches of lectures!! o.O Oh yeah, I better bring a jacket tomorrow.. the air-con is pretty cold in the rooms and I was actually freezing in the lab today..

Change of plans and didn't play pool today. Was supposed to go out to have lunch with my parents before catching a movie but we were late and ended up having a quick lunch at home before going to Yishun to watch Around The World In 80 Days..

Actually, Rebecca called up and ask me out. We were planning to watch Spiderman 2 but she got some other plans with her parents so she couldn't make it. Well, maybe next time.

Aww.. all of a sudden it seems that I have lost my voice. Feeling a little better after popping in Strepsils.. How strange.. I better drink more water as falling sick is a definite no-no..

Whoosh.. last day tomorrow before school reopens. Will be going out with Delicia. Haven't see her for a long time.. Used to be in the same tennis class with her a few years back.

The month of July is here.

Went to Grassroots to play pool with my Dad. It was harder as we played it on a billiard table. (No pool tables there~) Your aiming really needs to be accurate to get the balls to the pocket. The pool table is so much easier..

Tomorrow I might be going out to play pool again and for Sunday, might be meeting a friend for breakfast and another for window shopping in the afternoon.

Haha putting my last 2 days to great use as school reopens on Monday.. Wow wow wow.. it's back to school soon..
